The Wilkinson Family

A picture I've wanted to have finished for some time now - I finally forced myself to get on with it!

A big family group-pic of Frederick's foster-family, the Wilkinson otters.

From left to right:
Cedar - The eldest sibling. Generous, big-hearted, sensible and very protective of her siblings... especially Frederick. Was born with an exceptionally long tail, which earned her her name with its likeness to a tree-trunk.
Frederick - Of course, this ferret needs no introduction!
He is the youngest of the siblings.
Orphaned at birth, when his single-mother died in childbirth, he was adopted when Todd found them soon after his birth, and made necessary arrangements for his mother, whose true name was never learned. No clue was left as to his biological father's identity either. As such, Frederick was raised with the three existing otter-siblings and the Wilkinsons always treated him with the equal rights of a biological son. His kitt-hood was happy thanks to them.
Cedric - the middle brother, and twin-brother of Cedar, who is his senior by only a few minutes.
The cheerful member of the family - always happy and humourous. Not too smart, but he means well. He is also the fattest member of the family, as well as very strong. He holds a steady part-time job at a local wharf warehouse. He and Frederick used to play a lot of rough-and-tumble games together... Frederick, being raised by otters, developed his own share of physical strength and could even lift Cedric off the ground if he wanted to!
Todd - the family patriach.
It is clear that Cedric takes after his father, except for the fact that Todd is also quite sensible. A jolly and charitable old fellow who is always willing to give a helping paw to anyone who needs it. Frederick certainly owed it to him, for a start! There was no room for prejudice in Todd's household. He was determined that the young ferret would be treated like any other otter... and after all, they're all mustelids!
Freda - the youngest sister.
Young and slightly naive, but she's a kind and thoughtful girl. She's also rather shy and still very much devoted to her mother, who, of all the siblings, she resembles the most anyway.
Willow - Todd's wife, and family matriach.
Although the oldest family member (by a year or two), she is still a kind and loving old soul. She was also very much the brains of the family and home-schooled all their children ("all" being inclusive of Frederick, of course - no prejudice).
