Bomb Tests

Another little experiment.
Following on from the _{duplicateMovieClip()} command from the previous particle test, I've now set up a test program that can duplicate bombs... that in turn duplicate fire particles when they go off!
This program also became a stamping ground for learning how to use sounds. Because there are no actual timelines to plant the soundfiles onto, I had to figure out how to use alternative way of playing sounds... with ActionScript!

Click the Drop button to produce more bombs. These fly off at random, bounce off the walls and eventually explode.
You can also change the effect of the borders by clicking the three buttons on the right:
Foam absorbs the velocity of a bomb hitting it... when a bomb settles on the ground, it explodes.
Elastic keeps the bomb bouncing indefinately at the same velocity.
Flubber increases the bomb velocity... this gets the bombs flying at such a ridiculous speed that they fly apart under pressure!
