11) Anything special about them? Such as powers, appearances, stuff they own, or their life ( lives )?
Unlike his brother Retsubnad, a self-taught wizard, Danbuster has no powers to speak of. However, he does own a sporran reputed to have belonged to the famous Scuttish cartoonist, Angus McHammerspace, which - as its previous owner's name suggests - has a great deal of cartoonish properties. With it, Danbuster can control cartoon physics and he can store things in/produce things from the sporran that couldn't logically fit inside it!
Danbuster is also an excellent fencing with a sabre, a crackshot with a sniper rifle and a sharpeye shooter with a longbow, not to mention being something of a dap-paw at unarmed combat thanks to his long limbs!
12) Like to share anything of your characters history? If so, name it how you want. If not, why?
Well, how shall I summarise this...?
Danbuster was born the son of Bustopher and Daniella Leadboot - a mountain hare and brown hare respectively, meaning that he himself was a sort of brown-mountain hare hybrid. They called him Danbuster, mixing a little of their own forenames together to form a new one. Danbuster was the firstborn of twins, the other being Retsubnad... but sadly, he was take away by a superstitious doctor that believed he would grow up to be an evil twin - just because his fur was dark.
Anyway, the young hares parents were good to him and he was brought up well in a happy Christian home. In his younger days, he served with the HB (Hares Brigade) - which is like the Boys' Brigade in the human world.
He learned much about fighting skill from very young - part of that was down to atttending HB camps, where they did various recreational activities.
Over the years, Danbuster started gathering friends from the most unlikely sources. He became acquainted with a Leadboot family-friend, Albert Einspine, a hedgehog scientist, who invented gadgets such as automated attachments for his transport.
He gained powerful allies in the great eagle, Marquila RocBeak, and the hawkbirds of Hawkcrag.
He met his ferret sidekick, Frederick, and they have been best friends ever since.
Frederick later met Spencer and he became a "third" for their trio.
Danbuster since became a leader of sorts, in charge of a crimefighter known as the Dan Clan. He desperately tries to exercise what little leadership skills and authority he doesnt have, but everyone usually shares the load and nobody really rules over or works under anybody. The devout group is composed of six main creatures: Danbuster himself, Frederick, Spencer and Marquila and his wife Procella (Galeforce) - and Durungula (Strongtal)
Danbuster a Driving License and owns his own motorcycle and sidecar - the Hareleigh Davidson - which is just as cartoony as its owner after Einspine made some adjustments to it!
When he isnt off adventuring, he works with Frederick and Spencer at a freelance cartoon-making business, using a combination of his imagination, Fredericks artistry and Spencers animation skills.
Other friends also include the otter-couple from the Sonic world, Leroy "Hydrex" & Pearl Rudderbuck; Heinrich Scafferhund, Einspine's smart young German Alsatian assistant; and Winstanuki Typhoo-yè, a naturalised British tanuki who runs a family-business importing tea from China.
13) Name at least 3 of your favourite characters:
Miles "Tails" Prower, Gonff the Mousethief and Gandalf/Mithrandir.
14) Now draw a pic of your character, and maybe a model sheet if you like

15) Let's talk about you.
>> 1) What name do you like going by in reality? What name do you like to be known as on the web?
>>>> 1- Daniel Normington - well, that
is my name!

>>>> 2- Daniel, Dan or Danbuster will do!

>> 2) How old are you?
24, but passing 25 in mid-January!

>> 3) Any relatives you wish to talk about?
Hmmm, there's my Mum and Dad - who are still together. Unlike most average couples in this day and age, they are not divorced! Sad really... how "divorced" or "living together" appears to be an average marital status these days...
Also, there's Mum's cousin, Margaret, who's staying with us for Christmas.
>> 4) Love life? ( Remember, you *DON'T* have to answer this! )
I don't
have any love-life...

>> 5) Best friend (s) you admire mostly?

- a very good friend from Florida. We chat a lot on MSN!
...though some of the RPs we get my characters embroiled in do seem to be more outlandish than I'd dare to imagine... and many storylines seem to drag them back to Redwall - a fandom they left behind them long ago!

- a great guy to know. Also, another faithful Redwall fan. We occassionally chat on MSN, if he's online. Pretty talented artist, too!

- like a dA sister to me. As with many good friends on here, we seem to have a good deal in common.

- good friend from Holland. Also, Sassi's boyfriend, which I'm really happy about! They're a cute couple!

- another cool guy from Holland. We seem to have a great deal in common - like a love for nature and (I think) classical music.
...and please don't be offended if you're not on this list, as there are a lot or really nice people and friends I haven't mentioned!

>> 6) Favourite colour?
Bright blue!

>> 7) Likes and dislikes?
Likes:
Much like Danbuster, I like justice, good stories, using my imagination to make up story ideas and I value my family and friends! Also, I seem to enjoy life as long as I'm working on my art/animation projects; good videogames, especially action-adventure; reading books; good music, usually classical, but I'll go for anything with a lively tune!

Dislikes:
Again like Danbuster, I hate evil and pessimism annoys me, I'm not keen on people that scorn imagination and I hate politics, terrorism, child-rapists and murderers! Also, there's some classes of people that I just cannot get along with... (for example, narrow-minded people that won't allow you to be free to have your own beliefs. I don't mind them if they try to be tolerant about other opinions, but if they persistantly try to force their opinions on me... well, a chap's tolerance-level can only go so far before it hits critical mass - even mine...)
>> 8) Live in countyside, city, or other?
Countryside, definitely!

>> 9) Do you like where you live?
It's a nice quite town, so yes!

>> 10) Do you like Redwall?
Indeed I do

In fact, I love it

>> 11) Do you like McDonalds?
Nah!

In the absence of a KFC, I'd rather go to Burger King!!

>> 12) Anime or Manga?
Between those, I probably understand anime better... manga-style comics confuse me.
At least I can laugh at Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Seriesm anyway!

>> 13) PC or iPod?
I tend to use a PC for everything! Art, animation, videogames and music!

Not to mention YouTube and deviantART!
>> 14) Bacon bits, or croutons?
Croutons
>> 15) Fast food, or fancy dinner?
I'll make do with KFC - I'm easy!

>> 16) Mint, or peeps?
I like mint! I don't even know what "peeps" is...

>> 17) Summer or winter?
Summer - winter's OK at Christmas, but I hate being cold! At least in summer, you can take your clothes off (within the bounds of reason) when it's too hot...

>> 18) Party person, or mellow?
Mellow. I'm an introvert.
>> 19) Like comedy?
Like it? *does convincing Anton Ego voice (Ratatouille)* I don't
like comedy, I
love it. If I
don't like it, I don't
laugh!

...
...
... *cracks up*

>> 20) What do you like about a story fanfic? And what kind of characters?
1-Romantic unexpected - Just so long as it doesn't get all mushy and "awww"

2-Comedy excitement - Comedy is important to make it memorable, but don't drown the story.

3-Action - I love a good action scene!

4-Depressing - most stories have their sad bits...

5-Perfect ending - I always like a good happy ending, so long as it isn't too predictable or anticlimactic or something...

6-Violent or weird unwanted/unexpected ending - It depends... an unexpected ending can be good for comedy, but otherwise - no, I don't like bad endings!

7-Flash back-related - A flashback can be a useful device for revealing backstories...

1-Main character - Every story needs a good valiant hero... or an antihero that you can feel sorry for, depending on the story.
2-First person - This manner of narrative is good sometimes... like in Treasure Island or Sherlock Holmes. You're following the personal experience of someone who was actually
there!
3-Second person - Not sure what that is...
4-Third person - I prefer this method usually.
5-Extra - they can make lovely cannon/sword-fodder...

But, seriously, extras can help flesh out a story.
6-Only a few-times known character - so long as their appearance isn't too pointless...

7-Mysterious character - these can be fascinating. Like, I mentioned antiheroes. You might be wondering what makes them tick, anyway...
8-Crazy - well... Danbuster, is crazy!

9-Calm and quiet - you need a voice of reason! That's why Frederick exists to curb Danbuster's idiocies!

10-Dare-devil - again, Danbuster is a dare-devil!

11-Charming or sexy type - well, these can be a nice addition to a story sometimes... Pearl is definitely a sexy she-otter!

12-Smart ass - Spencer's a bit like that, sometimes...

13-Sensitive or shy - Spencer's also a bit sensitive, too!

14-Master-mind (leader material) - That's probably Retsubnad all over!

15-Side-kick - which is what Wally Babbleton is to Retsubnad, and what Frederick and Spencer are to Danbuster!
16-Bully - I hate bullies, but most stories have them! So long as they get their just deserts, anyway...
17-Young and encouragable - Danbuster again!

18-Mary Sue - as in stereotypes? I defy you, stereotypes!

19-Funny old wise man - Albert Einspine the hedgehog scientist...?

20-Other - I'm not short on "other" either!

>> 21) Favourite movie?
The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Rings and possibly Horton Hears a Who!

>> 22) Favourite series or book?
Either Redwall or Sonic...

>> 23) Favourite actor?
Hmmm... tough call...

Viggo Mortenson (as Aragorn)? Sir Ian McKellen? Tim Curry? ...Norman Wisdom?
>> 24) Favourite Disney Character?
Remy from Ratatouille!

>> 25) What's your favourite smell?
Ah... probably, errrm... sausages?

>> 26) Favourite texture?
Something soft and comfy, I guess...

>> 27) Favourite hobbie?
Videogames, I reckon - when I'm not animating, anyway...

>> 28) Favourite place?
Scotland!

>> 29) Hugs or kisses?
I don't mind hugs, even from other guys - but kissing? I reserve that for Mum, the old ladies and whatever future girlfriend I might end up with...

>> 30) Favourite stuffed animal at night?
I only have a
real animal these days, and that's my cat Faramir... and he seems to prefer his basket after the lights are out...

>> 31) Mamma's boy? (xD)
I wouldn't say that...

>> 32) Tv or book?
Book!

>> 33) Eat or sleep?
I like sleeping, but I tend to get to bed so late after either animating, playing videogames (on Saturdays) or getting stuck on MSN too long... so I have to go with good food!

>> 34) Do you like the Titanic?
Never saw it... and don't intend to!

The excess advertising for it put us right off, as did Celine Dion's awful rendition of "My Heart Will Go 'Won-an-don'"

Anyway, I hate sad stories!
>> 35) Favourite Redwall character? If so, what scenes from your imagination or from the book did you want to see in the series?
I wish they'd make a series of Mossflower, Mariel of Redwall and the Taggerung!

As for characters... of course, I'm particularly fond of Gonff the Mousethief, Martin the Warrior, Mariel and Deyna (Tagg) & Nimbalo!
>> 36) Name what kind of pet you have-if you've got one
Well, I mentioned my cat, Faramir!

There's also Mum's cat and Dad's two dogs!
>> 37) Name at least 5 people you want to tag for this
Meh... I can never be bothered to tag people! Let those who want to do this quiz just borrow it for themselves!

The last few times we actually managed to get a holiday, it was in Scotland where we'd hired a two of weeks stay at a house on a farmland near Kilmacolm. It's about a mile from the road between Kilmacolm and Greenock, so no traffic passing by - nothing but sheep and whatever other wildlife might live in the area (at least some foxes and raptors, so we heard from the farmer)
Nice and quiet on the Scottish countryside... bring along my computer and art-supplies and I could live there!
