An art piece I did for the Art Contest at Summer of Sonic 2013.
In context with the latest upcoming release, "Sonic Lost World" - which tragically only seems to be available to Nintendo Wii U and 3DS (neither of which I can even afford, let alone seriously consider)
Featuring Sonic as Sherlock Holmes and Tails as Dr John H Watson, the pair go off in search of the missing Lost World, trying to discover what has become of it. Indeed, it's quite something to lose an entire planet!
Bit of a palaver at the SoS event. I'd pinned it to the art board to be judged, but during the day it vanished along with a few other pieces and was presumed stolen. It was later revealed that the Sega organisers had removed these pieces for safety, to keep clean, but had failed to inform the SoS organisers. Talk about Poor Communications Kills...
Anyway, the drawings did turn up again after some frantic investigations and it turned out ok in the end.
Though, after all that, my art didn't actually win a prize... though I did get some kudos from the people that did see it and traced it back to me.

I was wondering about how that world could be lost - not only did it not contain Dinosaurs (not as far as I've played, anyway), but it was also hanging in the clear sky quite visibly. 
How would you loose something like that?
