Prince of Persia - Alternative Version

Long in planning, but never quite forgotten - this Flash animation was made as an affectionate parody of the classic 1990 DOS-game, Prince of Persia developed by Jordan Mechner.
I don't claim credit for the game or sprites taken from it - this is just a non-profit spoof of the simple storyline, with a lot of other references thrown in for good measure.

Posted on YouTube a few days ago, since I can't put a sprite-based work here on deviantART, whatever credits I might give. I understand there are very strict policies here - or at least there used to be in the past...?
I only just got the chance to make this link image, due to being away over the weekend and having a backlog and other things to catch up on.

Update: I have edited and replaced the video, removing the redundant "character intro" part before the story begins. Unfortunately, this has meant completely replacing the video, since the YouTube staff in their infinite wisdom didn't make it possible to replace an existing video-file!
