I just realised that I've got reference pictures of all my other characters... I never put Pearl's up! And how can I give people reference pictures when they're not here? Anyway, she'd be clobbering me for not putting her up, claiming I was discriminating against her because of her gender! She may be a beautiful otter-girl and have a sweet nature, but she's also independent and tough!

In order to purchase commodities other than fish, Pearl makes a living as a middleperson by spending a good part of the day catching fish and then selling what she won’t eat herself in the space of 24 hours to the local fishmongers in Station Square. She makes pretty decent business out of this. Everyone has to admit that otters do a much more efficient job of it than any human fishermen.
